Scott is originally from Washington DC and more recently Denver Colorado the last 23 years. He is a United States Army Veteran, a husband and grandfather. Scott has 13 years of traditional barbering experience specializing in men's clipper and high & tight haircuts and old school shaves. Scott attended Emily Griffith Barber College and apprenticed under a master barber before earning his Colorado barber license. He's owned and operated one of Denver's best barbershops for nearly a decade before deciding to get licensed in Florida and pack up his family and move to be closer to the mouse and beach.
Tried and True Barbershop was originally a one chair shop. Started in a tiny basement in a 100 year old house. Today, the Tennyson shop has expanded three times and houses eight professional barbers ready to serve. Now, Scott brings that same spirit to Winter Garden for his second location in this private studio to plant the roots for Tried and True Florida.
